We've got student-submitted reviews of universities, language schools, internships and teaching assistantships the world over. Our advice comes students who’ve actually done it, it's tried and tested and covers everything you need to know before you go and while you're away.

Our aim at YearsAbroad.com is to help students prepare for the third year abroad.Guide and reviews covers everything from choosing a destination and selecting a university, to managing your daily expenditures and integrating into a foreign community. Some universities, such as Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle, also have useful advice for students travelling overseas – and YearsAbroad.com aims to complement that.

We are a not-for-profit site and invest our own time and money in the project. Our hope is that any revenue we do make from the site from advertising can go towards small contributions to students taking a year abroad in particularly interesting destinations, in exchange for their reviews. More on that soon - if we get any advertising!
